Rock Rioja and make Tapas Fantasticas
A free festival celebrating Rioja wine, Spanish food and lifestyle. Now in it’s third year, the annual event is hugely popular with nearly 15,000 people attending in 2011. Organised by our friends at Phipps PR – we designed and delivered the website which allows visitors to see up-to-date information about exhibitors and sign-up to a wine walk or workshop hosted by Susy Atkins and Olly Smith.
The website plays a major part in the event promotion and awareness, attracting more than 32,000 unique users in the run-up to the London event each year.
Results:
- Nearly 15,000 people attending Tapas Fantasticas in 2011
- Appealing to a younger wine drinking audience than traditionally associated with Rioja wine
- Award winning trade recognition; IWC Generic Campaign of the Year, Drinks Business award winner, UK Event Awards Winner, Golden Hedgehog PR Awards 2012 Winner.
