On Thursday 14th April Wines from Spain held the 27th Annual Wines from Spain Trade Fair at Tobacco Dock. 67 exhibitors presented their impressive ranges of wines from all corners of Spain and for another year Hansell were given the exciting task of creating a new visual identity for the event.
Creating a visual identity for an event such as Wines from Spain is a huge task, it has to function in many different ways. Not only should it be representative of the event, WFS as a company and appeal to their their target demographic, but it also needs to be a design that can be applied across a vast spectrum of mediums; catalogue, website, animated advertisement ect therefore it needs to be a versatile design as well.
Throughout the months leading up to the event, Hansell worked on the creation of the event branding, online exhibitor and visitor registration, automated creation of printed and digital catalogue, venue graphics and signage, email communications design, responsive website, as well as project management which included site visits and installation of the graphics in preparation for the event.
We then made our way up to Tobacco Dock the day before the event to ensure all the venue graphics were installed in their rightful places. The branding really helped to add character to the large venue that is Tobacco Dock and also ensured that guests were able to navigate their way around the fair with ease.
